ADSL - Fast Internet Access

Welcome to the world of Broadband Internet ...

ADSL is new way to get online that is revolutionizing the impact of the Internet on the UK. It gives you the ability to surf the Internet at speeds of up to 2Mbps - approximately 40 times the speed of the fastest modem!

Permenant Internet Connection

An ADSL line can be permanently connected to the Internet. There are no metered charges so you can use the Internet as little or as much as you like and there is no connection delay!

Easy to Install
All you need is a visit from an engineer to upgrade your line and a network card for your PC. You can even use your existing phone at the same time as using the Internet.

Why Use Our ADSL Service ?

The BT ADSL service is available via a number of Service Providers, but only our ADSL service connects you directly into the centre of one of the fastest Internet networks in the UK. Not only that but our connection fee includes an ASDL modem, and obviously you will receive top class support from your local ISP - HavNet.
Services Available

Home500
The "Home500" service is intended for consumer use with a contention ratio of up to 50:1 and provides a download speed of up to 500kbps and an upload speed of up to 256kpbs. Our Home500 includes a fixed IP address allowing you to take advantage of other web services that require this. Very few home ADSL packages have this feature. The set-up fee is £159, with a monthly fee of only £29.99. This includes the supply of the required ADSL modem and Micro Filter. The contract period for this service is 12 months. These prices are inclusive of VAT.

Home500 Lite
The "Home500 Lite" service is, as per our standard Home500 package except that it does not have the advantage of a fixed IP address. It will also disconnect automatically after one hour if it is not in use and after 24 hours whether it is in use or not. For most home users this is not an issue. The set-up fee is £159, with a monthly fee of just £22.99. The set-up fee includes the supply of the required ADSL modem and Micro Filter. The contract period for this service is 12 months. These prices are inclusive of VAT.

We can also offer a 'wires only' version of the above packages reducing the set-up fee to £79. You will then need to source your own ADSL hardware and microfilters.

Office Packages
The "Office" service is targeted at the business community with a contention ratio of up to 20:1 and is available in three download speeds - up to 500kbps, 1Mbps and 2Mbps, with a common upload speed of up to 256kbps.
The set-up fee is £159 which includes the supply of the required modem.

Package Monthly
Office500 £75
Office1000 £110
Office2000 £140

Prices for office packages are ex-vat. All installations come with a "Micro Filter" required when connecting to ADSL lines. Additional Micro Filters are available at £15 each.

A router can be supplied instead of a modem with any of the above home and business packages for an additional £100 on the set-up fee.

We can also offer a 'wires only' version of the above packages reducing the set-up fee to £79. You will then need to source your own ADSL hardware and microfilters.

HavNet can also supply NAT business packages with a 20:1 contention ratio as well as Real-IP packages for use with SMTP feeds. Contact us for more information.

Internet Connection Sharing

ADSL is ideal for supplying internet access to a number of networked machines using one ADSL account. This can be done using a router which connects directly to your network. We can supply a router instead of a modem for any of the above services for an additional £100 on the set-up fee.

Alternatively, you can use an internet connection sharing program that runs on the computer that is directly connected to the internet. This will allow the other machines on the network to get web and email access through that one machine.

There are various pro's and con's to both methods which we would be happy to explain to you. Just call us on 0871 2710002.
